Answer:
Glory to Him indeed. Your words are so sweet to my spirit, so encouraging. Thank you. May He continue to be glorified in our lives :)
Beautiful Man, beautiful God You’re more than worth my time You’re more than worth these longings of my heart left unfulfilled Just for a time
And I know You don’t come as easy as some But I will watch and pray, I will watch and pray
Take it all, take it all Just give me Jesus, just give me Jesus
I don’t want any other lovers I don’t want any other lovers
For all my devotion belongs to this Man All my devotion belongs to this Man

Who has given me anything that I need to pay back? Everything under heaven is mine.
Job 41:11
Tonight I’m just thankful. For His gracious love. His way of pursuit on our hearts. He WILL lure us back in. He has such a deep and pure heart for those children who need to be called His, for those lovers who need to be won back again, for those lost who need to be found by Him. I’m thankful tonight that He loves deeply and wildly, pursues us with all He has, and doesn’t stop rejoicing over the lost sheep being found. He gives me joy, this Savior and King. He is redeeming all around. He is worthy.
I just simply love the honesty and outright emotion that Job has.
“What are people, that you should make so much of us, that you should think of us so often? For you examine us every morning and test us every moment. Why won’t you leave me alone, at least long enough for me to swallow! If I have sinned, what have k done to you, O watcher of all humanity? Why make me your target? Am I a burden to you? Why not just forgive my sin and take away my guilt? For soon I will lie down in the dust and die. When you look at me, I will be gone.” (Job 7:17-21)
He is downright real. He doesn’t seen hesitant to lay it on the table, to tell it like it is. Even if it doesn’t sound pretty or pleasing. I admire that. Because in Job’s story, God was present and alive, working on behalf of him. God was teaching him and growing him and even in his harsh honesty, God was glorified.
